Companies able to develop a medical device from concept design to manufacturing and even delivery may be a rarity in Michigan, but that’s exactly how industry experts position the Kalamazoo-based Keystone Solutions Group.

“I can’t think of any companies in Michigan I would compare them to,” said Hank Brown, the former CEO of Tangent Medical Technologies in Ann Arbor. The company, a University of Michigan spin-off, hired Keystone to help develop NovaCath, a peripheral intravenous catheter.

“There are several companies on the west and east coasts that compete with them because that’s where the big medical technology companies are based,” Brown said. “Keystone is a unique brand in the Michigan market.”

Keystone Solutions Group announces re-certification to ISO-13485 for its Medical Device manufacturing location.


Kalamazoo, MI, September 20, 2012:  Keystone Solutions Group, a Kalamazoo MI based product development and medical device manufacturing company, would like to announce that Keystone Manufacturing, located in Grand Rapids, has been awarded re-certification to the ISO-13485 standard. Their registration with both ISO and FDA now covers an expanded range of medical device manufacturing and design services.

Keystone Solutions Group experiences 55 percent growth


It would be an understatement to say business is good for Keystone Solutions Group.

The company has experienced 55 percent growth in 2011 over the preceding year and 2010 was record setter. Revenue and customer base both are on the rise.
