FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASENEW MEDICAL DEVICE COMPANY FORMED Keystone Surgical Products to Develop, Manufacture Products for National Distribution  KALAMAZOO, Mich. – July 21, 2010 – Keystone Surgical Products, a new Michigan-based medical device manufacturer today announced its formation and launch of several new products.  The new company is the result of a partnership between Keystone Solutions Group and Adam Keilen, an inventor, medical device entrepreneur and partner at Keystone Surgical.   “Keystone Solutions Group has partnered with Adam on a number of products in the past,” said Mike Zamora, principal of Keystone Solutions Group and partner at Keystone Surgical.  “The formation of Keystone Surgical Products has formalized that relationship and enabled us to develop and manufacture new products, and establish a sales organization to promote those products.” Keystone Surgical has already hired half of the expected nationwide sales force of 50 individuals.  Product development and manufacturing requirements will add several positions in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. The new company has stand-alone development and manufacturing capabilities, with established products serving the orthopedic and interventional cardiology markets.   “Keystone Surgical is working to develop efficiency-driven products that help both patients and physicians,” said Keilen.  “By finding and developing innovative products that can save time and improve outcomes, the health care system can realize significant savings in both cost-of-care and quality of life measures.” Keystone Surgical is based in Kalamazoo, Mich.- more - Keystone Solutions Group
